Ownership Mining :

QEM started with tying up and acquiring a cluster of massionary stone mines in Khetri, Jhunjhunu in the year 2007. We chose this as our pilot project because of the suitable location and approach to cater the heavy demand from Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi-NCR where infrastructure development activities are moving at a very fast pace. Today, QEM owns 20 hectares of stone mines at Ramkumarpura, Jhunjhunu, 6 hectares of same at Jharinda, Sikar, 5 hectares of Silica sand mines at Sohanpura, Patan and 11 hectares of glass quality Silica (SiO2) in Karauli district of Rajasthan. We are currently working and developing three mining sites out of the four stated above and are producing above 160000 Mt per month.

We will soon start production of glass quality Silica (SiO2) also from the deposits at Karauli. We are also increasing our mining capacity at our Jharinda site by deploying more equipment and manpower to feed the newly planned 215 TPH three - stage SANDVIK crushing & screening plant.
